missingWrote a review on Dec 19quality foodfull parkingdated interior
The food quality in the restaurant was quite good.
Upon my arrival, the parking was full, which forced me to park 500 yards away on the street. This inconvenience was further exacerbated by the hotel's lack of proper disability access, making it difficult for some guests. I found the interior of the room to be dated with issues like worn carpet and staining. It felt like a combination of neglect and outdated design, which was not what I expected for the price.

The Silken Gran Hotel in Durango features a lovely lobby and garden, instantly welcoming upon arrival. My room was spacious, equipped with a king-size bed, a sitting area, and essential conveniences like a fridge and kettle. The internet connection was reliable, making it great for work. I enjoyed a solid breakfast with options like scrambled eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent as well, specifically the steak. navigating the many stairs to access the hotel was a challenge, especially after a long day. there's no complimentary tea or coffee in the room, which felt inconvenient considering the room's price. The gym access comes with an extra charge, which I wasn't aware of beforehand. while there were a few drawbacks, the positives, including the helpful staff and good food, made for a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was solid, with a good range of options to fuel our days. Plus, parking was hassle-free during our stay. Definitely recommend this place for a laid-back trip!
One negative moment was at dinner when the meal felt overly greasy, leaving us all stuffed and a bit uncomfortable afterward.

Friendly vibes and great location
We had a lovely 4-night stay here! The staff are super friendly and really make you feel at home. The restaurant has amazing food, and being close to the train station is a bonus. Just a heads up, the bathroom could be a bit cramped, so be careful when moving around. a nice place!
